It has long been a firm favourite amongst travellers, windsurfers and Kitesurfers alike as it offers a very relaxed, pleasant pace and artistic flare. Its heart is the Medina (Old Fort) complete with white-washed houses and colourful shutters, local souks, Arabic culture, art and music. The maze of narrow cobbled lanes, come complete with endless market stalls, spice, rug, leather and jewellery shops, not to mention the coffee and cake shops! Throw in a healthy bowl of cous cous with lime, washed down with sweet mint tea and you'll come somewhere close to the cultural flavour of Morocco.
