Flag beach is the only designated centre in the north of Fuerteventura with many other Kite schools that tend to roam the island finding the best spot and wind for the days kitesurfing.
Flag beach is based on the road driving out of Corralejo and has full facility with instruction, rental, storage and rescue facility available.
Here the wind is predominantly cross-shore and the beach is the start of some 6-7 km of white sand, where we have about 3 km for kitesurfing. The best months for kitesurfing are March to November. This is when the sea tends to be flat and the wind consistent. During the winter months it can become too wavy and though it might be good on the occasional day it cannot be guaranteed.
