Soma bay is unique in that it is in a naturally accelerated wind zone so ranks as the 3rd windiest place in Egypt. As much as you can expect wind all year here Soma bays main season is typical to Egypt so May to October with July being slighty less.
Dont write off the spring and winter months as these can also be amazing with a full weeks wind!
The local sea condition is flat with wind chop, the kitesurfing zone offers shallow waist deep water that covers the 150 meter wide sand bar that run for a good few kilometers.
