December: the wind is picking up. Sometimes one or a few days without wind, but also many days with wind. Mostly on average a bit lighter from 14 – 19 knots, but sometimes also stronger. Great waves!! (also spots with flat water for those who don’t like waves) (also waves every day during the rest of the year, but the most days with higher waves from Dec - March)
January – March: on average about 80% of the days great wind. Sometimes light (14 – 19 knots), sometimes strong (20 – 25 knots). Great waves!! (also spots with flat water for those who don’t like waves) (also waves every day during the rest of the year, but the most days with higher ones from Dec - March)
April/May: On average about 70% of the days great wind. Sometimes one or a few days without wind, but also weeks with great wind every day. On average wind between 17 – 25 knots, but also sometimes lighter (14-17 knots)June – August/September: about 95% of the days wind, mostly between 17 – 25 knots.
September/October – November: not the best period for wind. Sometimes weeks with wind every day, but also sometimes a whole week or several days without wind (sometimes strong, sometimes light). Still great for a holiday with a combination of kiting and other things.
