Why do kiters come to Brazil. Just ask any kiter who has been here. Brazil is one of the top destinations for the following reasons.
1. WIND.... The wind here is SICK. the trade winds start blowing in June, really get going in July and then August to end of January is good. When we say good we mean the cross onshore at 20-25 knots EVERY DAY. If you don't believe us then Google it....
2. Climate. No rain out of rainy season, always around 27-30C. No wetsuits needed, ever, need we say more.
3. Living Costs. Once you're in Brazil everything, from food, to accommodation, to beer, to car hire, to kite repairs, is cheap.
4. 300km of windy beaches. From Fortaleza to Jericoacoara, these are all mostly undeveloped and can make for an epic trip of down winders. Paracuru is conveniently slap bang in the middle.
