What kind of accommodation do you provide?
We personally work with several pousadas in the area. All are rated 3 stars. Most are located on the beach and have pools. You will find massage and spa therapy offered as well. Since our guides will be staying at the pousadas with you, all of your needs will be met.
How will I get around to/from the airport?
A guide will be waiting for you at your terminal outside of the airport, from there you can rest assured that you will be taken care of for the rest of the trip. We will take you to all the spots and drive you back to the airport once your tour has ended.
While on the trip, what kind of coaching will I receive?
Since our trips are for intermediate/advanced riders, we expect you to know the ins and outs of kiteboarding. If you need some assistance while riding, we can certainly give you some tricks and tips. In the future, we will also be featuring specialty tours with pro kiteboarders to help increase your skill level.
What can I expect from your guide?
Alberto is a veteran Brazilian kiteboarder with 5 years experience under his belt. He knows all the best spots in the areas we will be traveling to. He has a long list of satisfied customers.
What size kite(s) should I bring?
Since the wind is-a-blowing, we recommend between 6 to 14 meter kites for your time here (depending on your weight). You will need your 6 or 8 as we get closer to Jericoacoara where there wind is very strong. If you don't have these sized kites, rentals are available near the hotel where you stay the first night in Fortaleza.
What about boards?
You should have your own board, but again we can help you rent from the local shop.
What kind of food/drinks are available on the tour?
Brazil has amazing cuisine and specialty beverages. We will be stopping for food and drinks along the way up the coast. We'll also have a support buggy to carry gear and water/snacks on downwinders.
