The Wind in Combuco: on the North East coast of Brazil blows pretty much continually from June to February and its always from the South East. Cumbuco is located just south of the equator (3 degrees) and therefore is in the area of the south eastern trade winds and has many sand dunes bordering the coast which thermally reinforce the south east trade wind and adds around 5-6 knots more in strength. In a nutshell, from June to Feb you get 18 to 24 knots day in day out, Happy Days!
Sea conditions are varied. From Combuco we have 5 spots within 70 km that offer a superb mixture of con ditions for all levels. Flat water lagoons, barreling waves, small waves and many uncrowded spots.
